Integrated digital rental solution for a portable power supply startup
Omnicharge, a leading portable power solution startup, partnered with Digital Creative to design and develop a new consumer mobile app and a custom ERP system. The goal was to facilitate customer rental experiences from charging stations containing a range of smart power bank chargers. The project involved creating a user-friendly mobile app for Powerstation client customers to unlock and rent chargers and a custom ERP system to manage rental models, inventory, CRM data, and business processes to streamline rental operations.

Cross-platform consumer mobile apps to unlock, rent, and interface with power banks
Our team designed and developed a cross-platform mobile app in Flutter with key functions leveraging Swift for iOS and Kotelin for Android, with the following core features:
Bluetooth pairing: Users remove a charger from a Powerstation and pair it with their device via Bluetooth by entering a dynamic code on the charger's LED screen.
Rental plan selection: The app presents users with pre-configured rental plan options from the client's ERP, ranging from free access to paid tiers of durations. Users can quickly review and choose the plan that best suits their needs, and setup payment via Stripe.
Rental monitoring: Once a rental plan is confirmed, the charger is unlocked, and the app visualizes the charger's battery life and rental details. Users can monitor their rental status, the battery health/capacity and receive notifications for timely returns.
